NEW VIDEO: FABOLOUS Featuring THE-DREAM

Fabolous is back on the scene with his own record for a change. For the last year to year and a half he has been doing guest spots on every hot song from the likes of Ryan Leslie, The-Dream, and Ne-Yo. The new record "Throw It In the Bag" features both production and guest-vocals from The-Dream himself (not to my surprise). The is definitely going to make a strong impression on the charts. The beat is hard-hitting and very reminiscent of R. Kelly's "Like A Flirt" with loose, thumping percussion. The video is nothing to rave about. It's the typical hip-hop video these days, materialistic and low-budget due to this terrible economy. It has two or three main scenes but its eye-catching nonetheless. Big ups to Fabolous and hopefully, he can come out on top with a good album. I'm sure it will feature a lot of production from The-Dream since the two work so well together. Fabolous' go to collaborator used to be Lil' Mo, but it seems Dream has taken that role now.

I just saw the video on 106&Park last night and I just don't really care for Fabo anymore. I tuned him out but the hook that The-Dream sings is catchy. That's the only thing I like.

I hope Fabo does well. What I personally look for in a rap song is the flow, and Fabo definitely puts some unique flows together. His verses are always on point when he does a guest spot, but his solo albums lack.
