Mariah Carey just tweeted today that her highly anticipated, twelfth studio album "Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel" is being pushed back once again for a September 29th release.
A few weeks ago Mariah had pushed the album back once again after the Grammy deadline for September 15th to her dismay as she had originally intended for the album to come out at the end of August before Whitney's comeback.
All of these push backs worries me about the new album. All of the album preview parties and snippets had generally good reviews. So is Mariah not satisfied with the project or could it be Island Def Jam not be happy with the project? It is known that the label will go forward with projects they do not like, however, they tend to lack on the promotion of it (ie. Janet Jackson's "Discipline"). I Hope this album sticks to its most recent release date and doesn't stray away from Mariah's initial concept for the album.
