INDUSTRY NEWS: NEW WHITNEY ALBUM

Whitney is finally coming BACK after years of a speculated return. According to the J Records website, Whitney plans on releasing her first album since 2002's "Just Whitney." The new album is slated for a world-wide release on September 1, 2009. So it looks like a new single should appear on the airwaves soon.

This fall looks like a great time for the music industry with new projects from the likes of Whitney, Mariah, and Usher. Mariah Carey has not finalized a release date, but it would be epic if these two divas released their albums on the same day. That would definitely be the biggest music battle ever. All in all, I just hope Whitney's new music is classic, and that her voice is in good condition because the vocals from the Olympics will not cut it.
